Auto Body Technician

A & R Collision Center is seeking an Auto Body Technician.

 Description Auto Body Technician / Automobile Body Technician / Body Tech Free I-Car training available. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: 

• Examine damaged vehicles 

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders • Fill depressions with body filler 

• Remove damaged fenders, panels 

• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment. 

• Straighten bent automobile frames. 

• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces 

• Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake system.  

• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.

• Frame experience and mechanical a plus

Job Requirements 

• Two years of experience as a vehicle body repairer or apprentice 

• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles 

• Valid driver's license 

• Technicians must have their own tools and able to pass a drug and back ground test. Pay is commission based on performance.

Paint Technician

A & R Collision Center is seeking a Paint Technician

A & R Collision Center has multiple positions available for Experienced Paint Technicians to paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment.  Our Paint Technicians receive advanced training and certificates. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a successful company.

This position includes 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment 

• Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping and/or buffing defect 

• Mix to specified color using standard formulas or color charts • Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas. 

Qualifications: 

• 1 - 2 years auto painting experience required. 

• Strong communication and interaction skills required. 

• Excellent organizational skills required. 

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
